Conveyancing Expert

The Conveyancing Expert will be responsible for managing sale files, escalating to the Conveyancer as needed. The ideal candidate will have relevant residential conveyancing experience and possess good communication and problem-solving skills.
About the Role:
This is a hybrid position offering a mix of office and home based working in Milton Keynes. The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting sales contracts and agreeing terms with the other party's conveyancer. They will also assist the Conveyancer with purchase and other matters, diarise and chase matters as necessary, provide telephone support to the team, prepare accounts and documents for exchange and completion, deal with completion and prepare files for the post completion team, manage own email account efficiently, and maintain accurate case management system and physical files.
The role involves various tasks such as incoming & outgoing post collection/distribution, opening new matter files on business systems, initial administration work on matter files, taking customer card payments on account, issuing customer forms and assisting in their completion, applying for searches, using the Land Registry portal to obtain copy deeds, and telephone answering and general admin duties.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will have relevant residential conveyancing experience, good communication and problem-solving skills, attention to detail and understanding of conveyancing protocols, and professional and efficient work adhering to compliance protocols. Estimated Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum.
