About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Turning Point. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality support to individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support individuals to promote their independence and engage in daily activities
  • Assist with personal care needs, including manual handling and medication support
  • Develop and implement person-centred plans to support individuals' life skills and personal interests
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a safe and healthy environment
  • Contribute to service monitoring requirements and maintain accurate records

Requirements

  • Passion, caring, and enthusiasm for supporting individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs
  • Flexibility, patience, and non-judgemental approach
  • Ability to demonstrate good communication skills and work effectively as part of a team
  • Transferable experience of helping people to manage anxiety
  • Valid driving licence
