Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Actuarial Senior Manager to join our Insurance Group in London. As a key member of our team, you will provide expert guidance on a wide range of Actuarial issues, including assurance services, external and internal audit, corporate governance and risk advisory, regulatory advisory, and more.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert guidance on Actuarial issues, including assurance services, external and internal audit, corporate governance and risk advisory, regulatory advisory, and more.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored advice to help them succeed.
  • Lead and manage a team of actuaries to deliver high-quality advice and solutions to clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory changes to ensure our advice is always relevant and effective.
Requirements
  • Significant insurance actuarial experience and a qualified insurance actuary.
  • Strong technical actuarial knowledge and a high standard of IT literacy.
  • Influencing skills both internally and externally.
  • Experience with delegation and overseeing/reviewing the work of student actuaries.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organisational, communication, and presentation skills.

This is a client-facing role, and you will be expected to be commercial and client-centric. You will work closely with our clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored advice to help them succeed. You will also lead and manage a team of actuaries to deliver high-quality advice and solutions to clients.
