Senior Actuary

Canada Life UK is seeking an experienced Senior Actuary to lead our Actuarial Reporting team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing accurate modelling, financial analysis, and advice to senior management. You will also oversee analysis and insight produced by other actuaries and lead small to medium-sized teams of qualified and part-qualified actuaries and analysts.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide accurate modelling, financial analysis, and advice to senior management.
- Oversee analysis and insight produced by other actuaries.
- Lead small to medium-sized teams of qualified and part-qualified actuaries and analysts.
- Develop and implement actuarial control frameworks.
- Manage, coach, develop, and motivate a team of qualified and part-qualified actuaries.
- Fellow of Institute of Actuaries (or equivalent).
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of the needs of the business.
- Experience in IFRS17 and Solvency II financial reporting.
- Strong communication and influencing skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships across the actuarial function and the wider business.
