Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer X-Ray to join our team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our medical equipment across the UK. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent customer service skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Repair and maintenance of X-ray equipment, including CR and DR systems, to ensure timely resolution of issues and minimal downtime.
- Installation and demonstration of new equipment, working closely with the sales team to provide seamless support to customers.
- Routine maintenance and upgrades of DR X-ray equipment, adhering to service contract requirements and escalating any potential issues promptly.
- Collaboration with internal stakeholders to resolve customer service-related problems, ensuring effective communication and timely resolution.
- Adherence to health and safety protocols, reporting any potential hazards or incidents to the Team Leader or Service Delivery Manager.
Requirements:
- A minimum of completed training or studies in Medical Technology/Healthcare (X-Ray) or comparable professional experience.
- Experience in operational management of a service desk, preferably with Salesforce, ServiceNow, or comparable platforms.
- Mastery of ITIL processes, specifically incident management and problem management.
- Confident handling of Microsoft Office applications, including SAP and Salesforce.
- Strong service and customer orientation, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- English language proficiency (written and spoken).
Salary and Benefits
The estimated annual salary for this position is £55,000 - £65,000, depending on experience. Additionally, you can expect a comprehensive benefits package, including pension scheme, life insurance, and opportunities for professional development.
