Job Description

**About the Role**

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team at Fawkes & Reece, a leading family-run business in the construction industry. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in delivering profitable projects within agreed timescales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Regeneration team to deliver projects within budgets, timescales, and ensuring excellent customer satisfaction.
  • Be responsible for all commercial aspects of a project, including valuation of works, managing subcontract accounts and payments, CVRs, preparation and negotiation of final accounts, cost reporting, value engineering, and assisting the procurement department in producing robust subcontract orders.
  • Prepare quantities for the Preconstruction department and promote commercial awareness throughout the Project team.
  • Work in close partnership with key stakeholders within the Estimating, Commercial, and Construction departments to ensure projects are completed within budgets, timescales, and ensuring excellent customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Construction-related qualification, preferably BSc (Hons) Degree or similar.
  • Strong technical skills.
  • Good contractual awareness, particularly in JCT and NEC forms of contract.
  • Excellent IT skills across core Microsoft suites and communication skills.
  • CSCS Card.
  • Full Driving Licence.
