Locum Consultant in Gastroenterology with General

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Locum Consultant in Gastroenterology with General Medicine to join our team at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working closely with medical staff, and contributing to the development of our services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert care to patients with gastrointestinal disorders, including diagnosis, treatment, and management.
- Work collaboratively with medical staff to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
- Contribute to the development of our services, including quality improvement initiatives and education programs.
- Participate in on-call duties and provide emergency care as needed.
- Support junior colleagues with their learning and contribute to teaching and training programs.
- Eligibility to work in the UK and registration with the GMC.
- Experience in Gastroenterology with General Medicine, with a strong track record of patient care and service development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with medical staff and patients.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to quality and safety.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including on-call duties and weekends.
