Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team as a Lead Occupational Therapist at St Mary's Hospital in Warrington. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for managing a complex caseload and working closely with colleagues to deliver high-quality care to our service users.

About the Role:

  • Manage and co-ordinate the implementation of individual treatment plans for occupational therapy services ensuring treatments, activities and interventions are delivered through effective application and communication by the occupational therapists.
  • Participate fully with the multidisciplinary team and encourage the service users to be fully engaged in their care pathway.
  • Ensure the team maintains accurate and timely records detailing each patient's rehabilitation / progress.
  • Support clinical team working, including both direct interventions and the delivery of staff training programmes.

Requirements:

  • To be qualified and registered as an Occupational Therapist.
  • At least 3 years post qualifying experience.
  • Experience in assessing people with a variety of psychometrics and risk assessment tools.
  • A full and clean UK driving licence.
