Job Title: Practice Development Specialist - Community Nursing

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced nurse to join our Practice Development team as a Practice Development Specialist - Community Nursing. This is an exciting opportunity to work with our community nursing services and contribute to the development of high standards of practice and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the education lead and service leads to provide direction and leadership in the implementation of education, training, and development strategies for district nursing, community matrons, and in-patient rehabilitation units.
  • Develop and implement training programs for nurses to expand their clinical skills in accordance with the Trust's standards.
  • Work with the Practice Development team to contribute to standard setting for nursing practice.
  • Participate in the training of staff to monitor the quality of care delivered using clinical standards and take necessary action to ensure excellence in nursing practice.

Requirements:

  • NMC Level 1 Registered Nurse Adult.
  • Specialist professional knowledge of mentorship, education, and development practice.
  • Evidence of continuous personal, professional, and academic development.
