AWE Plc is seeking an Electronics Engineer to join our team in Reading. The successful candidate will have a degree in electrical/electronic engineering and relevant experience in designing, testing, and fault-finding of electrical/electronic circuits.

Job Summary

The role involves assessing new designs for suitability for service use, qualifying new components, and testing and assessing components and systems as part of an ongoing surveillance programme.

Responsibilities
  • Assessment of new designs for suitability for service use

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the application of electronics to defence systems and be able to analyse and assess existing designs. Training will be provided, and opportunities to study for further qualifications are available.

The salary for this role is £29,640 - £50,000 per year, depending on experience.
