Job Description: We are currently seeking a skilled Heavy Goods Vehicle Technician to join our dynamic team at the Cardiff Office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing HGVs to ensure they are safe and operational.

Your Responsibilities:
  1. 1. Conduct regular inspections and diagnostics on HGVs to identify any potential issues.
  1. 1.1 Use your technical expertise to diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
  1. 2. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  1. 2.1 Maintain accurate records of all work completed, including details of parts used and labor hours.
  1. 3. Collaborate with colleagues to resolve complex technical issues and implement effective solutions.
  1. 3.1 Communicate effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs and provide exceptional customer service.

Requirements:
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in equipment repair.
  • Ability to lift heavy loads as required during repairs (heavy lifting).
  • Experience using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with clients.
  • Ability to assemble components accurately and efficiently.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems relevant to HGVs is advantageous.

Salary: £38,500 - £48,500 per annum
