About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our client, a leading government agency, on a 6-month contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the project's resources, ensuring tasks are implemented on time, within budget, and to the required scope and quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the project lifecycle from start to finish, ensuring seamless execution and delivery.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with senior stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Ensure the project is delivered to the required scope, quality, and timeline, while maintaining a focus on governance and assurance.
  • Apply exceptional organization skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities, ensuring timely completion and minimal disruptions.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of Senior Project Management experience, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Experience of managing project governance and assurance, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and build effective relationships.
  • Prince2 Foundation certification, with experience of delivering projects using this methodology.
  • Desirable: APM Qualified, AgilePM Qualified, and experience of delivering projects using an Agile approach.
