Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to support a key child with challenging behaviour in a school in Alton. The successful candidate will have a strong background in working with children with SEN and be confident in supporting on a 1:1 basis.
Key Responsibilities:- Support a key child with challenging behaviour in a school setting
- Work closely with the teaching staff to develop and implement individualised support plans
- Provide 1:1 support to the child, both in and out of the classroom
- Assist with lesson planning and delivery, as required
- Collaborate with other professionals to ensure the child receives comprehensive support
- Teaching Assistant qualification or higher/equivalent
- Previous experience working in a UK school or with children of a similar age
- Up-to-date Safeguarding training (desirable)
- Right to Work in the UK
- Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate (registered with the online update service)
- Accredited continued professional development courses
- In-house Training and Development Team
