Teaching Assistant Role - Special Educational Needs B77 Location: Tamworth B77 Position: SEN teaching assistant Contract and start date: Temporary full time and ASAP Minimum rate of pay: GBP70 a day (pay rate depending on experience and hours) Hours: 8:30 - 16:00 Working Hours: Monday to Friday, term-time only We are seeking SEN Teaching Assistants to support our students with a range of special educational needs (SEN), including moderate to severe learning difficulties, autism, and physical impairments. As part of our expanding team, you will be instrumental in providing a safe and nurturing environment, where every child can thrive academically and socially. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored one-on-one and group support to students, helping them overcome barriers to learning.
  • Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and therapists to create a positive learning atmosphere.
  • Assist in implementing creative and engaging activities that encourage development and independence.

Candidate Requirements:
  • Experience working with special educational needs (Career or personal)
  • A passion for working within education
  • A positive, creative, and proactive approach to supporting students with diverse needs.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with students, staff, and families.
  • Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year
