Inventory Control Specialist

As a key member of the Hermès team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our stock management processes. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of inventory-related best practices and be able to manage multiple tasks through effective prioritization.
Main Responsibilities:
- Inventory Operations Management
- Manage day-to-day stock operations, including inventory control, stock replenishment, and cycle counting.
- Ensure all stock and stock management systems are managed and maintained accurately, within agreed parameters, and in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with the Stock Manager to implement and maintain stock-related procedures, including handling damaged or defective goods.
- Continuous Improvement
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new storage practices, equipment, and distribution methods.
- Participate in team meetings and discussions to propose and perform adjustments and improvements to storage practices.
- Coordination and Transversal Management
- Work closely with the store team, including the Stock Manager, sales teams, and other departments to ensure seamless stock management.
- Liaise with Head Office to ensure alignment with company policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with peers from other stores and external service providers.
- Training and Development
- Participate in training programs to enhance knowledge and skills in stock management and related areas.
- Contribute to the training of other team members on stock-related processes and procedures.
- Health and Safety Security
- Ensure a safe and secure working environment by maintaining a clean and organized stockroom and adhering to company health and safety policies.
- Report any hazards or incidents to the Stock Manager or store management.
- Personal Appearance and Conduct
- Adhere to company dress code, grooming, and conduct guidelines.
- Maintain a professional approach and demeanor at all times.
- Ensure confidentiality of company commercial activities and internal affairs.
