About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled O&M Field Engineer to join our team at Sungrow - EMEA. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our solar power systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner, developing corrective action plans to prevent future occurrences.
  • Schedule and execute preventive and predictive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Travel to project sites and vendor locations to perform on-site installation, repair, maintenance, oversight, and modifications as required.
  • Conduct electrical, mechanical, and software component inspections, testing, repair, and troubleshooting in accordance with specifications.
  • Provide timely written review reports from field operations, status, and constructive feedback as requested.
  • Respond to emergency call-outs and ensure that all O&M activities performed at project sites comply with OEM requirements and warranties.
  • Record and report all faults, deficiencies, and other unusual occurrences, as well as the time and materials expended on work orders.
  • Manage and monitor the stock of spare parts and spare units on-site, applying timely stock refills.
  • Coordinate service partners to improve reaction times and manage subcontractors, monitoring their work results.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable local Health and Safety instructions and regulations, developing and managing local HSE regulations for site activities.
Requirements
  • Education as an Electrical Technician or Engineer, with a strong understanding of AC/DC, Low/Medium Voltage, and electrical conduits.
  • Knowledge of PV inverters is a plus.
  • H&S training for accessing construction sites (60 hours basic training, specific electrical).
  • English language skills at least at C1 level.
  • Driving license is essential for the job.
  • Experience dealing with customers in critical situations.
  • Willingness to travel and work in a fast-paced environment.
