About the Role

The Data Architect will play a key role in driving the alignment of solution designs to good data management practices, ensuring positive insight and reporting outcomes. Working closely with Enterprise Architecture and project architects, the Data Architect will govern the formulation of solution designs at high level and in detail to ensure data architecture and data management principles are applied consistently to the applications estate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain the PXC Enterprise Logical Data Model (ELDM) and ensure its alignment with industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with project architects, tech leads, and business stakeholders to ensure solution designs take appropriate consideration of PXC's data strategy objectives.
  • Provide training and guidance on the use of the ELDM and promote its benefits across the organization.
  • Review solution data model designs and provide recommendations and guidance on alignment with the ELDM.
  • Participate in project architecture governance processes and contribute to the development of guidelines for data architecture and data solution design.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of data management and storage systems, including Microsoft Azure and Snowflake.
  • Ability to design and enforce data infrastructure policies, procedures, and processes.
  • Experience in data analysis tools and techniques, as well as knowledge of cloud computing technologies.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Continuous learning mentality to stay up-to-date with emerging technologies.
