About the Role

The Data Architect will play a key role in shaping the data strategy for PXC, working closely with the Enterprise Architecture team and other stakeholders to ensure that data architecture and data management principles are applied consistently across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain the PXC Enterprise Logical Data Model (ELDM) to ensure data consistency and accuracy
  • Collaborate with project architects and solution designers to ensure that solution designs align with data architecture and data management principles
  • Provide guidance and training to stakeholders on the use of the ELDM and data governance best practices
  • Contribute to the development of guidelines for data architecture and data solution design
  • Participate in project architecture governance processes to ensure that solution designs meet data standards and good practices
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of data management and storage systems, including database, data container, data lake, and data warehouse
  • Experience with data analysis tools and techniques
  • Ability to design and enforce data infrastructure policies, procedures, and processes
  • Knowledge of non-Azure data warehousing, specifically Netezza
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, including Enterprise Architecture, Senior/Exec Level, Project and Solution Architects, and wider Data Consumers across the business
