Maintenance Engineer Job Description

At Rubicon People Partnership, we are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our factory infrastructure and production equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment and document safety checks
  • Conduct safety inspections, including fire alarms and working at heights
  • Manage PAT testing requirements and coordinate third-party contractors
  • Assist with the installation of new equipment and support the tooling maintenance team as needed
  • Work with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician/Engineer with electrical and mechanical skills
  • Background in manufacturing, with experience in maintaining machinery such as moulding machines, CNC equipment, conveyors, and robotics
  • Ideally competent in both single-phase and three-phase electrical circuits, as well as 12/24V DC systems
  • Basic IT proficiency, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
