**Job Title:** Engineering Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our aerospace engineering workshop. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, experience in supervising a team, and expertise in utilizing CNC machines.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. **Supervise and Coordinate:** Oversee the daily activities of the workshop team to ensure smooth operations and timely completion of projects.
  2. **Manufacturing and Maintenance:** Oversee the manufacturing and maintenance of aerospace components using CNC machines.
  3. **Training and Development:** Train, mentor, and provide guidance to workshop personnel, including CNC machinists, to optimize their performance and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  4. **Compliance and Quality:** Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards in the workshop environment.
  5. **Collaboration and Prioritization:** Collaborate with engineering and production teams to prioritize and schedule work orders based on operational and customer requirements.
  6. **Team Management:** Experience in managing several shop floor machinists, both skilled and semi-skilled.
Requirements:
  1. **Proven Experience:** Proven experience in a supervisory role within an engineering workshop, preferably in the aerospace industry.
  2. **Technical Skills:** Proficiency with CNC machines, as well as familiarity with CAD/CAM software.
  3. **Knowledge and Commitment:** Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and a commitment to promoting a safe and inclusive work environment.
Working Conditions:
  1. **Work Schedule:** Monday to Thursday 7:30am - 4:00pm, Friday 7:30am - 12:00pm (39 hours).
  2. **Salary:** £24 per hour depending on experience, equating to £48,672 per annum.
  3. **Benefits:** Free life assurance, 33 days holiday, onsite parking, and pension.
