Aerospace Engineering Team Lead

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Supervisor to lead our aerospace engineering workshop. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, experience in supervising a team, and expertise in utilising CNC machines.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the daily activities of the workshop, ensuring smooth operations and timely completion of projects.
- Collaborate with the team on project planning and execution, prioritising and scheduling work orders based on operational and customer requirements.
- Conduct performance evaluations, providing guidance and training to workshop personnel to optimise their performance and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards in the workshop environment, promoting a safe and inclusive work environment.
- Interface with other departments to ensure seamless workflow and address any production challenges that may arise.
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within an engineering workshop, preferably in the aerospace industry.
- Proficiency with CNC machines, as well as familiarity with CAD/CAM software.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and a commitment to promoting a safe and inclusive work environment.
Monday to Thursday 7.30pm Friday (39 hours)
Salary and Benefits£24 per hour depending on experience, equating to £48,672 per annum. Benefits include free life assurance, 33 days holiday, onsite parking, and pension.
