Job Title: RPG Developer

Chapman Tate Associates is seeking an experienced RPG Developer to join our team. As an RPG Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining applications using IBM RPG programming language.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop applications using IBM RPG programming language
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications, identifying and resolving issues to ensure optimal performance
  • Write efficient and clean code while adhering to coding standards and best practices
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements to continuously enhance your skills and contribute fresh ideas to the team
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an RPG Developer, with a strong portfolio of completed projects
  • Proficiency in RPG IV programming language and related tools
  • Familiarity with IBM iSeries (AS/400) platform and associated technologies
  • Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) principles
  • Problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities
