About the Role

Chapman Tate Associates is seeking an experienced iSeries / RPG Developer to join our team of skilled professionals. As a key member of our IT Software Solutions department, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects that shape the future of the industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain applications using IBM RPG programming language
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications, identifying and resolving issues to ensure optimal performance
  • Write efficient and clean code while adhering to coding standards and best practices
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements to continuously enhance your skills and contribute fresh ideas to the team
Requirements
  • Proven experience as an RPG Developer, with a strong portfolio of completed projects
  • Proficiency in RPG IV programming language and related tools
  • Familiarity with IBM iSeries (AS/400) platform and associated technologies
  • Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) principles
