Role Responsibilities

The Activities Coordinator will play a vital role in building friendships with our residents, helping them adjust to life in a care home. Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering high-quality personal and psychological care to all residents in a professional manner.
  • Maintaining good communication levels with the Manager, Senior Care Assistants, Chef, and relatives to ensure smooth operation of the role.
  • Completing records to a satisfactory standard, agreeing the type and quantity with the Manager on a monthly basis.
  • Maintaining client, staff, and business confidentiality at all times.
  • Planning daytime and evening activities, coordinating with other services in the facility, and creating a monthly planner.
  • Encouraging resident participation in activities and documenting outcomes, aware of residents' hobbies and interests.
  • Working individually and within the team to provide necessary backup for all staff, considering the aims and objectives of the Home and its residents.
