Product Design Specialist

ITP is partnering with a bespoke manufacturing business to add a talented design engineer to their technical team.

**Role Overview:**
As a Design Engineer, you'll be at the heart of our design and project execution processes. This unique role combines mechanical design with project management, offering you the opportunity to shape and drive forward our cutting-edge projects. You'll be instrumental in transforming conceptual ideas into reality, while ensuring high standards of design and functionality.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Develop and refine designs for custom manufacturing projects using SolidWorks.
* Work closely with project managers to align design objectives with project goals and timelines.
* Design and analyse mechanical components and assemblies, with a focus on rotating equipment.
* Conduct feasibility studies and simulations to ensure design efficiency and effectiveness.
* Provide technical support and troubleshooting throughout the project lifecycle.
* Oversee and manage design-related aspects of projects, ensuring adherence to budgets and schedules.

**Requirements:**

* Mechanical Engineering background
* Proven experience with SolidWorks and mechanical design principles.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
