Yolk Recruitment Ltd is proud to support this recruitment campaign for a Design Engineer to join a leading Engineering company. With multiple sites across the UK, this company is a pioneer in their industry, offering growth and professional development to their workforce.

The team in Castleford is a close-knit group of 30 employees who provide service, repairs, and spare parts for their customers in the UK and the Middle East.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop mechanical products and pump assemblies for various applications.
  • Manage and maintain accurate Bills of Material within the EMIR system.
  • Oversee the Contract Management process to ensure timely and accurate project documentation.
  • Conduct site surveys and provide detailed reporting to support quotation and tender processes.
  • Ensure all data recording systems are up to date, including drawing and part revision management.
  • Provide technical support to the Application Engineers, Regional Sales Managers, and Operations Team as needed.

Requirements:

  • Strong mechanical design skills and experience with product development.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
