We are seeking an experienced A&E nurse to join our team in Scotland. As a nurse specialist in the A&E department, you will have the opportunity to develop valuable skills in emergency nursing and work in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess and prioritise patient needs, creating personalised care plans and implementing effective interventions in the emergency setting.
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and provide emotional support to patients and their families during critical situations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimise patient outcomes in high-pressure scenarios.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with established protocols.
- 6 months of hospital experience in a UK-based A&E setting.
- Effective working in a fast-paced, dynamic team.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine interest in emergency nursing.
- PVG clearance (we can assist with the application process).
- Experience working as a Band 6 nurse, showcasing leadership skills and the ability to handle complex cases.
- Willingness to support the department with full-time hours, contributing to the efficient operation of the department.
