Job Title: Administration Manager

We are seeking an experienced Administration Manager to join our team at Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As an Administration Manager, you will play a key role in supporting our clinicians and administrative staff in providing high-quality services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to our clinicians and administrative staff, including sending correspondence and booking appointments.
  • Answer emails and telephone calls, following up actions where required.
  • Take minutes at meetings, manage diaries, and use the full Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Work on your own initiative and demonstrate a willingness to help others as a key member of the team.
  • Build effective relationships with colleagues and external partners, with a flexible approach to work.
  • Prioritise work and meet deadlines to fulfil the requirements of the post.
  • Carry out day-to-day organisation of systems to ensure the smooth running of the administration team.
Requirements:
  • Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to work under pressure and re-prioritise own workload to manage deadlines.
  • Good interpersonal, communication, and reporting skills, with the ability to communicate with people at various levels, both internal and external.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills and knowledge, including experience of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team, using initiative, demonstrating accountability for own work, and being flexible and adaptable.
