Role Overview

We are excited to be growing our Industrial Manufacturing Cost Management team and are seeking an experienced Associate Cost Consultant to join us in delivering high-profile manufacturing facilities for global clients.

As part of our Cost Management team, you will be involved in a wide range of projects, from global and high-profile to small and impactful, ensuring they are delivered on time and to budget. Your expertise in planning, estimating, budgeting, and managing costs will drive growth and smarter working.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of professional Project Management services to high-profile clients, working on large industrial buildings and distribution centers across the UK & Europe.
  • Work on projects from inception through to completion, including cost estimates, feasibilities, benchmarking, procurement, and contract management.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring excellent service and positive outcomes.
  • Support the development of junior colleagues and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

Requirements

  • MRICS Chartered Quantity Surveyor or equivalent qualification.
  • Passion for driving innovation in service and delivering exceptional results.
  • Proven experience working on large complex construction projects within the industrial manufacturing sector or other heavy MEP sectors.
  • Ability to lead projects from inception to completion.
  • Strong cost estimating experience and rate/benchmark knowledge.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to build good client relationships.
  • Experience coaching and mentoring junior colleagues.
  • Good leadership skills.
  • Experience with Digital Cost Management and CostX, 5D BIM, and Benchmarking tools.
