About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Forensic Quality Manager to join our team at Mountain Healthcare Ltd. As a Forensic Quality Manager, you will be responsible for leading and developing an effective quality management system within our Sexual Assault Referral Centres.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality management systems that meet the requirements of ISO 15189 and the Forensic Science Regulator's requirements.
  • Lead and manage audit programs to test the quality management system and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS), Forensic Science Regulator (FSR), and Forensic Service Providers, to ensure smooth and effective external assessments of the forensic disciplines.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on quality management and accreditation to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, UKAS, and the Forensic Regulator.

Requirements

  • Relevant degree or equivalent level of qualification in a relevant subject and/or proven relevant work experience, alongside a qualification in project management/quality management.
  • Valid UK driving license.
  • Experience of providing high-quality documents, good computer skills, and document quality assurance and formatting.
  • Previous supervisor/managerial experience and excellent communication skills, verbally and in written format through reports to senior management.
