About the Role

The Quality Director will oversee all quality assurance and quality control functions at the manufacturing site, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements. This role will drive continuous improvement initiatives, manage the quality team, and collaborate with other departments to enhance overall product quality and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures and standards to ensure all products meet quality specifications.
  • Manage regulatory compliance, including GMP: ISO 22716, and stay updated with changes in regulations.
  • Investigate consumer complaints and provide feedback to consumer affairs, implementing improvement actions to improve results.
  • Assure raw material, pack materials, bulks, and finished goods are inspected according to Coty specifications.
  • Manage the industrialization of new products, ensuring a seamless process from R&D through to industrialization.
  • Assess and resolve supply quality issues, developing continuous improvement programs with suppliers.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures.
Leadership and Team Management
  • Lead the quality team, ensuring the right people are in the right roles, and developing performance plans for all team members.
  • Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall product quality and operational efficiency.
Continuous Improvement
  • Develop and deploy programs to improve process mastery and repeatability, reducing non-quality costs.
  • Ensure a strong partnership with other functions for delivery of factory key results.
Project Management
  • Define project charters, clear success criteria, and deliver objectives on time and with quality.
Essential Skills and Experience
  • Chemistry master's degree or equivalent.
  • 5+ years' site-based quality leadership experience in cosmetics, consumer goods, medical devices, or pharmaceuticals.
  • Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations, mandatory national standards, and technical specifications.
  • Strong capabilities in root cause problem-solving, process control techniques, and change management monitoring.
