Quality Assurance Manager

Givaudan, a leading global company in the fragrance and flavor industry, is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Quality Assurance function, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety, compliance, and quality of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement the Global Quality Assurance Strategy, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Distribution Practice (GDP) Strategy.
  2. Lead and maintain approved status to accreditation Standards in the scope of the QMS.
  3. Maintain QMS documentation required to ensure the effectiveness of the system and assure product quality.
  4. Ensure the effectiveness of processes critical to quality, including Change Control, HACCP / CCP's, validation schedules / trials, pest control, cleaning, Product Recall / Annual Test.
  5. Coordinate the review and response to client related quality enquiries, quality agreements, questionnaires, evaluation reports.
  6. Manage Non Conformance, including Customer Complaints and internal nonconformance, and lead Product Recall.
  7. Manage employees within the QA function, ensuring the required level of capability and competency is maintained and assess the effectiveness of training in all site functions.
  8. Guide the Plan, Do, Check, and Act continuous improvement process concerning processes that are critical to quality, including SAP/systems, developing Indicators and the culture of continuous improvement.
  9. Communicate the performance of the QMS, including events (e.g. and site Quality Indicator performance to Quality Manager / Senior Management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a Science, Engineering, Quality Management, Continuous Improvement or related discipline.
  • Quality Management Specific Qualification.
  • Overall work experience of 5+ years with 5 years relevant experience.
  • 2 years of progressive people management required.
  • Proficient in reading, writing and comprehending English language.
  • Expert level of understanding of the principles of Quality Management Systems.
