Job Title: Chief Systems Validation Engineer

Our client, Carbon60 - Eng&Tech, is a world leader in the development of systems used for Naval vessels.

The company seeks a highly skilled Chief Systems Validation Engineer to join their team. As a key member of the project team, this role plays a crucial part in ensuring the successful delivery of projects by applying best practice across the Systems Engineering lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply best practice across the Systems Engineering lifecycle, from requirements, design, integration and the V&V stages, supporting the acceptance process.
  • Contribute towards key elements of management plans, processes using approved methods, SQEP and resources/facilities, also their maintenance and management.
  • Aid creation and perform Integration, Verification, Validation and Test activities as per approved plans, processes and procedures.
  • Maintain alignment, or a tailored approach, of lifecycle activities in accordance with department and Industry standards.
  • Support Project reviews, including Design reviews, Risk, Change Impact etc.

Your Qualifications:

  • Degree/HND/HNC or equivalent experience in Systems Engineering/Software/Hardware engineering (SE processes and methodologies (ISO 15288/ISO 29119/INCOSE)
  • Experienced in System Engineering V&V lifecycle planning, delivering and reporting
  • Proven experience of an evidence-based approach for Systems Integration, V&V and Acceptance
  • Systems thinking, logical approach, RCA/rectification/regression management
  • Good communication, stakeholder management, & technical report writing

Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience
