Role Overview

The Priory Hospital Norwich is seeking a skilled Mental Health Act Administrator to join our multidisciplinary team. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about providing high-quality care and support to patients.

Job Description

In this position, you will be responsible for managing the efficient administration of the Mental Health Act (MHA) within the area of responsibility. This includes prioritizing workload, creating and maintaining individual legal files, and safeguarding confidential information.

You will also be required to maintain accurate data in relation to the use of the Act, provide MHA training for the hospital, and ensure staff are fully informed and trained in new practices. Additionally, you will monitor, remind, and record changes in legal status and appropriate documentation.

As a key member of the Healthcare MHA administrators group, you will participate in regular meetings and contribute to the development of policies and procedures. You will also be responsible for processing hearings in relation to MH tribunals and Hospital Directors review.

**Salary:** £32,000 - £40,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
