Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at Teaching Personnel and provide essential support to primary-aged students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with teachers and other staff members to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes the well-being and development of every child.
  • Personalized Learning Plans: Assist in the implementation of personalized learning plans, ensuring that the needs of each child are met and their progress is monitored and evaluated.
  • Relationship Building: Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging their confidence, independence, and social skills, and helping to manage classroom behavior and provide emotional support when needed.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Experience working with children, particularly those with SEN and SEMH, is essential for this role.
