About the Role

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Support Professionals to join our team at a specialist school in the CH49 area. This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) by providing individualized support and fostering their academic and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build positive relationships with students, creating a nurturing and supportive learning environment.
  • Assist students with classroom activities, ensuring their active participation and understanding.
  • Deliver specialized interventions on a one-to-one basis and in small groups, tailored to individual student needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to implement effective teaching strategies and support plans.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive school culture where all students feel valued and supported.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience working with students with SEN, particularly those with MLD.
  • A calm and patient demeanor, with the ability to manage challenging behaviors effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A genuine passion for supporting students' learning and development.
