Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Art Teacher to join our team at Prospero Teaching. As a SEN Art Educator, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching Art and a commitment to providing high-quality education to students with SEND. You will be responsible for creating engaging and inclusive Art lessons that cater to the diverse needs of our students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver Art lessons that meet the needs of students with SEND
  • Develop and implement strategies to support students with challenging behavior
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment
  • Assess and record student progress, identifying areas for improvement and celebrating successes

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

A passion for teaching Art and working with students with SENDExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work collaboratively as part of a teamFlexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
