About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Paediatric Dietitian to join our dynamic team at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing inpatient support to young people requiring medical care for an eating disorder on our acute Paediatric ward, as well as outpatient clinics and multidisciplinary sessions to support care planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert nutritional advice and support to patients and their families
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to promote healthy eating habits and weight management
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify nutritional needs and develop strategies for improvement
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination

Requirements

  • Registered Dietitian with a strong background in Paediatric Nutrition
  • Experience working with eating disorders and Paediatric patients
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
