Carpentry and Joinery Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Carpentry and Joinery Specialist to deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences to students at Bournemouth and Poole College.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and delivering engaging lessons that cater to diverse student needs
  • Maintaining strong connections with industry partners to ensure curriculum relevance and employer engagement
  • SUPPORTING community enrichment activities that promote personal growth and development
  • Tracking student progress and providing constructive feedback

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • NVQ level 2 or equivalent qualification in Carpentry and Joinery
  • Mathematics and English skills at Level 2 or willingness to attain them
  • Hands-on experience in first fix, second fix, and roof construction

This role comes with a competitive salary of £28,372 - £39,198 per annum, plus a £3,000 Golden Hello incentive.

BENEFITS INCLUDE:

  • An annual leave allowance of 39.5 days, plus bank holidays
  • Up to four extra days off during the Christmas closure period
  • Free parking at our college sites, subject to availability

The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately £33,536.
