Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:

  • NVQ level 2 or Craft certificate in Carpentry & Joinery
  • Maths and English at Level 2 equivalent or willing to work towards
  • 1st fix, 2nd fix, and cut roof/trusses skills
  • Minimum 5 years industry experience in Carpentry and Joinery
  • Knowledge of current evidence-based practice in field(s) of expertise
  • Excellent communication skills, including written and verbal
  • Competent in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong organisational skills, able to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines

Benefits:

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £28,372 - £39,198 per annum, plus up to £3,000 Golden Hello. Additional benefits include 5 days annual leave plus bank holidays, up to 4 days leave during the Christmas closure period, free parking at college sites, access to Discount Schemes, and enrollment into the Teachers Pension Scheme.
