Aerospace Fitter Technician

Héroux-Devtek Inc. is currently recruiting for an experienced Aerospace Fitter Technician to join our team in the Aviation Industry.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical systems and be able to read technical drawings, with previous experience in the Aerospace Industry being highly desirable.

Main Responsibilities:

• Build, test, and inspect mechanical hydraulic systems
• Fitting and assembling sub-assembly parts and components
• Repair mechanical issues
• Using measuring equipment (e.g., Micrometers)
• Ensuring aviation regulations and H.S.E Standards compliance
• Working to engineering drawings, C.M.M.s, and Operation Instructions

Qualifications:

• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Previous experience as an Assembly Fitter in the Aviation Industry
• Strong understanding of mechanical hydraulic systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
