Lead Gameplay Designer

Hangar 13 is an internal 2K development studio that creates influential AAA video game experiences across all major platforms. Our studio is comprised of talented developers in Brighton (UK), Brno & Prague (Czech Republic), and across the US, working collaboratively as one team.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Lead Gameplay Designer to join our Gameplay Design team. As a Lead Gameplay Designer, you will be responsible for the design and quality of the game's Player systems and features from prototype to shipping.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop Player game features and systems
  • Evangelise core gameplay features across the project
  • Analyse and validate feedback from the team and external user testing
  • Author and maintain design documentation
  • Lead a team of designers to shape the Player's experience within the game
Requirements
  • Experience working with Unreal Engine
  • Shipped one or more AAA game titles in a Lead Gameplay / 3Cs Design role or similar
