About the Role
- You will work with an amazing team in Cardiff, supporting women and children who have been through incredibly tough times due to domestic abuse.
- Your role will be based across a cluster of domestic abuse refuges in Cardiff, providing person-centred support planning, safety planning, and risk assessments.
Your Focus
- Build trusting relationships and offer tailored, respectful support to a caseload of 5-7 women who have fled abusive relationships.
- Collaborate with external agencies like housing services, social services, and the police to ensure a comprehensive support network.
Essential Requirements
- At least 1-year experience supporting women affected by domestic abuse or domestic violence.
- Strong ability to build immediate, trusting relationships.
- A strong understanding of risk assessments, support planning, and safeguarding.
- A compassionate, solutions-focused approach.
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
