About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Fabric Technician to join our team at Royal Mail Property & Facilities Solutions. As a Fabric Technician, you will be responsible for providing expert knowledge of the Building Fabric industry to our customers, ensuring their premises are secure and safe at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply technical knowledge to solve fabric-related problems and ensure completion of projects
  • Work closely with colleagues, Building Engineering Technicians, and Asset Technicians to provide a first-class service to customers
  • Ensure full compliance with RMPFS health and safety policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Computer literacy, particularly in electronic management systems and email
  • Effective communication skills, including active listening and transmitting important messages to customers
  • Sound knowledge and practical experience of carpentry and wet trades
  • Good knowledge of Building Fabric products
  • A full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
