Front of House Team Member

Hundith Hill Hotel is looking for an experienced and dedicated Front of House Team Member to join our dynamic team. As a key part of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests and ensuring their dining experience is exceptional.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional service in a vibrant restaurant environment. You will be required to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting and possess strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements.
  • Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all dietary requirements are noted.
  • Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, maintaining high standards of presentation.
  • Assist with bartending duties as required.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication regarding orders and special requests.
  • Uphold food safety standards by adhering to hygiene regulations during food preparation and service.
  • Handle guest inquiries or complaints professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction at all times.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment (preferred but not essential).
  • Knowledge of food safety practices (an advantage).
  • Bartending skills (desirable; training can be provided for the right candidate).
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
  • A friendly disposition with excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
  • Team player who is willing to help colleagues and contribute positively to the workplace environment.
