Job Title: Application Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Application Specialist to join our team at Thales Group. As a key member of our applications team, you will provide expertise across a range of project delivery and operational support services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop solutions, perform quality assurance testing, and track progress to meet deadlines for internal projects.
  • Support the upgrade and deployment of PLM solutions and modules across the Thales platform.
  • Manage small projects, potentially delivered by external parties.
  • Interface with business and IT functions to support the development of business and functional requirements, status updates, enhancements, deployments, and go-live support.
  • Implement solutions within multiple architectural environments.
  • Develop documentation for software and customisations.
  • Learn new technologies and work alongside experienced Consultants and Project Managers.

Requirements:

  • PLM implementation experience - Oracle or SAP.
  • Knowledge and use of Java, JSP, JavaScript, J2EE, and/or XML for Windchill modifications.
  • At least 5 years experience in the IT Industry (preferably within an Engineering Company).

Desirable:

  • Training in PLM solution - technical, end-user and processes.

Qualifications:

  • Degree/HND or an equivalent in a relevant IT subject.
