Job Summary:

Thales Group is seeking a highly skilled Application Specialist to join our team. As an Application Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expertise across a range of project delivery and operational support services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement solutions for PLM Systems, ensuring quality assurance and meeting deadlines.
  • Support the upgrade and deployment of PLM solutions and modules across the Thales platform.
  • Manage small projects, including input into project requirements, status updates, and go-live support.
  • Interface with business and IT functions to develop business and functional requirements.
  • Implement solutions within multiple architectural environments, including Linux, Windows, Apache, SQL Server, and Oracle Database.
  • Develop documentation for software and customizations, including user guides and installation guides.
  • Stay up-to-date with new technologies and work alongside experienced Consultants and Project Managers.

Requirements:

  • PLM implementation experience, preferably with Oracle or SAP.
  • Knowledge of PLM Methodology, BoM Lifecycle, Data Migration, Change Process, CAD, Data Classification, and ERP.
  • Experience with Java, JSP, JavaScript, J2EE, and/or XML for Windchill modifications.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the IT Industry, preferably in an Engineering Company.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Training in PLM solution, technical, end-user, and processes.

Education:

  • Degree/HND or an equivalent in a relevant IT subject.
