About the Team Leader Role at Hobbycraft

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Team Leader to join our team at Hobbycraft. As a Team Leader, you will play a key role in supporting the management team and helping to drive sales, alongside the development and delivery of excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the store, including merchandising, goods in, and warehouse operations.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, answering customer enquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Team Management: Support and coach new colleagues, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to succeed in their roles.
  • Workload Management: Co-ordinate the workload of colleagues, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Requirements

  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year's previous retail experience is essential, with managerial or supervisory roles being advantageous.
  • Passion: You must be passionate about all things craft and want to inspire others.
  • Communication Skills: Confident and clear communication skills are essential, as you will be working with colleagues and customers at all levels.
  • Flexibility: You must be flexible in order to accommodate the business trading needs.
