As a Research Scientist in Power Electronics at The University of Manchester, you will be part of the Energy and Power Division, a leading research group in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering.

About the Role:
  • You will conduct innovative research in power electronics, focusing on the application of wide-bandgap power devices to enhance converter performance.
  • Design and develop high-voltage experiments and high-power testing facilities to support your research objectives.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve research goals and publish findings in reputable academic journals.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of power electronics and electromagnetic energy conversion principles. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential for this role, as well as the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
