We are offering a competitive salary of £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.

Job Description

As a Research Associate in Power Electronics, you will join a multi-disciplinary team working on a cutting-edge project to develop high-power solid-state circuit breakers using ultra-wide-bandgap materials.

You will be responsible for designing and demonstrating solid-state circuit breakers that exploit semiconductor devices developed within the project.

Required Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for a highly skilled individual with practical research experience of power electronic devices, circuits, systems, or motor drives.

A PhD (submitted or obtained) is highly desirable.
